Founded in 2011, ISHA-TN was established to advance the field of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in India. Our journey began with a vision to provide structured support, professional education, and ethical guidelines for practitioners in the field. Over the years, we have grown into a key organization promoting best practices, engaging with national and international experts, and building a strong professional community committed to enhancing communication abilities and improving quality of life across all age groups.

Mr. RANJITH RAJESWARAN

President

President of ISHA-TN and Chief Audiologist with over 29 years of experience in hearing implants and auditory neuroscience. Founder member of Cochlear Implant Group of India and HEARRING. Guided more than 63 theses and pioneered auditory habilitation programs in India. Recipient of multiple awards for teaching and innovation. Actively involved in community hearing restoration and rehabilitation projects across Tamil Nadu.

Dr. Sundaresan R

Secretary

Secretary of ISHA-TN and Associate Professor with 20 years of experience in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. Specializes in ASD, hearing aids, and implantable hearing devices. Leads academic programs and student mentorship in clinical audiology. Recipient of the Academic Excellence Award. Actively contributes to community initiatives to improve hearing healthcare awareness.

Treasurer

Treasurer – ISHA Tamil Nadu and Professor at Madras ENT Research Foundation – Institute of Speech & Hearing with over 26 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology, Clinical Linguistics, Neurogenic Communication Disorders, AAC, and Dysphagia.He is also Director of Impower Centre and Founder-Director of Therapy Compass, promoting accessible and culturally relevant therapy resources across India.
